We offer modern solutions for the exploitation of Cuba’s pipelines

The Bulgarian company "Stroitelna Mehanizatsia" AD will participate in the replacement and construction of piping systems in Cuba. Pursuant to a signed Memorandum on the establishment of a joint venture, under the Cuban legislation, between the Bulgarian company and one of the companies owned by the Cuban Ministry of Water Resources. The document was signed during the visit of a Bulgarian business delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev in Havana, Cuba, on the occasion of the 35th edition of the international fair FIHAV 2017. The signatures of the memorandum were set by Stefan Jeliazkov, Executive Director of the Bulgarian company and engineer Vladimir Lasa Garcia, General Director of the EILH Management and Maintenance Association for Water Resources.
The establishment of  joint company was reached as an agreement during a meeting between Deputy Minister Alexander Manolev and Ramirez Valdes, Deputy Chairman of the State and Ministerial Council, and the Council of Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Pardo Cruz, Industry and Ines Maria Chapman Wag, President of the National Institute of Water Resources (INRH), and is expected to be the first of several similar partnerships between representatives of Island State institutions and Bulgarian business.
The Memorandum provides for long-term work on strategic water projects in Cuba, and the Bulgarian company will invest in machinery, materials and technologies for this purpose. For the purpose , a bilateral working group will be set up to support the creating of joint company and discuss the first projects to be implemented in the historic centers of Trinidad and Cardenas, as well as in the famous beach resort of Varadero.“Stroitelna Mehanizatsia” AD will offer solutions to the problems associated with the operation of Cuba’s pipeline systems, through the use of ecological "trenchless technologies", as well as solutions for drinking and waste water purifuying treatment plants.
The signed Memorandum is a logical continuation to the Memorandum of Understanding from 2015 between “Stroitelna Mehanizatsia” AD and the Cuban National Institute for Water Resources, which provides the introduction of “trenchless technologies” for  pipeline construction and rehabilitation in Cuba.
